| June | June is a busy month at St.
Anne's, as we have many traditional, annual events scheduled. It began with Recognition Sunday; a day that recognizes the adults and the children who are involved with Sunday school and Acolyting. The third Saturday of the month we had our Annual Strawberry Festival, Craft Fair and Flea Market. As expected we had delicious food on-hand, with many starting with dessert by eating freshly-made Strawberry Shortcakes. There were craft tables, a gardening raffle, and a Cookie Walk with a variety of homemade cookies and fudge. The month ended with our Annual Golf Tournament that was held at Swanson Meadows Gold course in N. Billerica. The weather was beautiful and the Mulligans were plenty; those and all who participated made for a great time! The tournament ended with a BBQ. |
| May | A fundraiser for St. Anne's was held at Masonic Lodge in Billerica Center. The Eastern Sound Band entertained us with a great variety of music. There was Polish music, Country western, old favorites and some fun ones, such as the Chicken Dance and the Finger Dance (a new one for many). Everyone enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to another such fundraiser. |
| January | The Youth Group held a U2charist on an Saturday January evening. Youth groups as well as parishioners from other churches attended. A home-cooked meal followed this communion service that was accompanied by U2 songs. |
